With DAKboard adding your Calendars is easy. This article is to help you with setting up your Plan to Eat Calendar with your account. Here’s how to add a read-only feed of Plan To Eat calendar events in DAKboard. See our article How to Add a Calendar Block to your DAKboard Screen for more details on navigating the new Calendar Block Editor. 


Add a Plan to Eat Calendar:


Note: This must be done on a desktop computer.


In Plan To Eat, follow the linked instructions to create a calendar subscription link:

These instructions are below for you as well:

1. In the Planner, click on the  Share Meal Plan button.


2. There are 4 links that can feed into your calendar application:

3. Click one of the links and the text will be available to copy (command+C on Mac, control+C on Windows).


4. At the bottom of this dialogue box select either:


5. “View recipes as all-day events”

    - “View recipes at meal times. (Breakfast) 7 am, (Lunch) 12 pm, (Supper) 6 pm. (Snacks) All day.” 


6. After you have copied the link and selected your options, click the Save Settings button.


Adding the Link to DAKboard:


In the DAKboard settings, for Predefined screens: click on Screens > My Predefined Screen > Calendars. Copy one of the published links you created using the steps from above. Paste the link in the iCal URL field and click Save Changes.



For Custom Screens, add a calendar block, click on the block to select it, and click the Edit button.  Select the iCal/ICS Link calendar type and paste the link into the field:
