To move a DAKboard display or CPU to a new or different DAKboard account, first, remove the display from the existing account. Under Displays & Devices, find the desired display, click the more actions ellipsis, and select Remove Device:
Next, log out of the current account, and log in to the new account. If you are on the same network as before, you will not need to update your WiFi credentials. If you are putting this on a different network, you will need to connect to that first. Use our article Updating Your WiFi Credentials on Your DAKboard OS Device to change your WiFi network if necessary
Next, reboot your DAKboard OS device by unplugging the power and plugging it back in. Once it boots up and connects to the internet, it will display the Registration page containing your Link Code for devices on version 3.0 and above, or your Serial number on devices running version 2.31 and below.
Finally, navigate to Displays & Devices page, and click the Add button. In the new pop-up window, add a Name to identify your Display, then enter the Link Code from your Display, or the Serial Number if your Display is on version 2.31 and older of the OS. See the example below:
In the Assigned Screen section, click the dropdown to select the Screen you wish to Display, otherwise, it will display your Predefined Screen. Click Save and your changes will be applied to your device. Some older devices may also need a reboot to complete the changes. Simply unplug the power to them and plug them back in.
