Loops are available on the Plus Subscription Plan and allow you to display a series of Custom Screens for a predetermined amount of time and then move on to the next Custom.

Creating a Loop:

From your DAKboard account, open the Loop Tab from your DAKboard account page and click Add a Loop:

Set a name for your Loop and select a Custom Screen from the menu to the right of the Add Loop screen:

Once you have selected your Custom Screens in the order you wish to view them, you can change the amount of time each Custom Screen shows from the Dropdown, and change the Transition Animation Style and the Transition Animation Speed. Once you have completed your selections, save your Loop, and then you can start using it.

Assigning a Loop to a Display:

From your DAKboard account, click on Displays & Devices, find the Display you want your Loop to appear on, and click the image below the Assigned column:

From the pop-up menu, click on the Loops Tab, select the Loop you wish to display, and click Save:

From here, your Display will update and now run the Loop displaying the Custom Screens repeating at the interval you selected.

Remove A Loop Schedule:

As with any Screen, Schedule, or Device, a Loop can be removed from your account. To do this, go to your Loops page, click the three dots in the lower right-hand corner of the Loop, and select Delete Loop. See below:

Frequently Asked Questions:

Below are the most Frequently Asked Questions about the Loops:

Why is my Loop Disabled?

This should only happen if you have the wrong Subscription plan selected. Make sure you have a Plus Subscription, or else your Loops will not work.

Why can't I use my Predefined Screen in my Loop?

Due to the unique way the Predefined Screen URL is generated, it cannot be added to your Loop or Screen Scheduler. This is why it is not included in the list of available Screens.

Can you have multiple Screens per Display?

There are two ways this can be done. With the Loops feature, you can set up a loop, then tap the lower right or left corners of your screen to advance or retreat the loop. With the Button/Link block (see our article How to use the Button / Link Block for details), you can add buttons to navigate to other Screens.
