TABLE OF CONTENTS
For those who have wanted a way to switch to other Custom Screens, Loops, or Schedules on demand or easily share a URL to another source, the Button / Link Block is for you. Setup is easy, and this block type adds more interaction to your DAKboard display with Touchscreens or with a connected USB Mouse. This article will show you how to use this Block.

Save the changes, and your button is ready for use with your Touchscreen or connected USB Mouse.

- Button Color: This option allows you to add a color to your Button; you can even use it to make the button translucent.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Below are the most Frequently Asked Questions about the Button / Link block:
Can you have multiple Screens per Display?
There are two ways this can be done. With the Button/Link block, you can add buttons to navigate to other Screens. With the Loops feature, available with the Plus subscription (see our article How to Create and Use a Loop for details), you can set up a loop, then tap the lower right or left corners of your screen to advance or retreat the loop.
Can you add a Predefined Screen to a Button?
This option is not available on the Predefined Screens. Due to the unique way the Predefined Screen is made, it cannot be linked to other screens using the Button / Link Block.
Can I navigate back from an External URL?
With version 4.07 and above, you can now navigate back from External URLs. When you use the button block to navigate to a URL outside of DAKboard, a Back Button will appear in the upper right corner. Pressing this button will automatically switch you back to your DAKboard Screen. If the Button does not appear, this means the page you navigated to allows the sweep gesture to return to the last page. Try sweeping your fingers in from the left side of the screen to return to the last page.
