If the Bot cannot answer your questions or if you need clarification on what he said, he can help you open your support ticket, which we will answer during our business hours. When presented with the option, you can click the Create Support Ticket button or say Create a Support Ticket to the Bot, and he will walk you through the process. Try him out today.

Using the AI Chatbot:

The AI Chatbot works by finding keywords in your question and searching our Knowledge base to supply you with an answer. Depending on how you word your question will determine how effective the reply will be for you. Below are some helpful hints on how to get the best results from the bot.

  1. Don't ask single-word or extremely short questions, there will not be enough information to get you an accurate response.
  2. Try asking the question as if you were speaking to a real person. The bot handles questions worded like this the best.
  3. Try and keep your questions simple.
  4. Include details like error messages if you are receiving them.
  5. If you have more than one question, ask them one at a time.
  6. The bot may answer with multiple solutions. Check them all out, as you may find what you are looking for.

Dos and Don'ts When Asking Questions:

Below are some examples of what to say when you are speaking to the Bot.

Don't Say:

  • "My DAKboard is not working." The bot will most likely just point you to one of the overarching articles that cover a lot of information, and will not give you solid examples or solutions
  • "Amazon Photos?" The bot will most likely direct you to an article about the Amazon Photo integration. This may or may not be helpful, depending on what you meant when you said Amazon Photos
  • "Cancel." Several things can be canceled. Saying this may get you an article on how to cancel your Subscription, or how to cancel your order,  but without specifics, it may give you a blank response instead.

Do say:

  • "My display is not working. I am seeing an error message on my screen about a Kernel panic. What should I do?" This question will have the bot direct you to the DAKOS General Troubleshooting in the Kernel Panic or loading, please wait….starting version 247.3-7+deb11u1 section, and will let you know what needs to be done.
  • "How do I add Amazon Photos to my DAKboard Screen?" This question will not only take you to the How to Add Photos from Amazon Photos article, but it will also supply you with the steps to complete this task.
  • "How do I cancel my order from your shop?" This question will send you to our article Cancelling an Order and will supply you with the steps to complete this on yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Below are the most Frequently Asked Questions about the AI Chatbot:

Is this a Live Chat?

No, the AI Chatbot is not a live chat, and you will not be able to speak with our Support Desk personnel directly through this chat.

How do I Create A Support Ticket?

The AI Chatbot can assist you with this. From this point forward, you will only be able to create a support ticket using the Bot. Once you have asked him a question, if you are not satisfied with the response and marked that the answer was not helpful, the Bot will present you with buttons to ask again, end the chat, or create a support ticket. You can use this button to create your support ticket.

If the answer was helpful, and you answered yes but still need to make a support ticket, or if you want to start by making a support ticket, just continue your conversation with the bot or start the conversation by saying Create A Support Ticket. Some replies may take you to the option to open a ticket as well.

Why is the bot going back to the Start with the AI Assistant each time I start to type a question?

This can sometimes happen if you have extensions running on your browser. It has been found that some extensions can interfere with the AI Chatbot's performance. Try disabling your browser extensions or accessing the bot from an incognito browser.
