With DAKboard, you can now use our Package Tracking block to follow your items being shipped via several Shipping companies. Our Integration with EasyPost makes this possible. This article will show you how to set up this block and start using it.
Add the Package Tracking Block:
To add this block, open your Custom Screen, click the Add A Block button, and then navigate to the Transportation & Maps tab or search for Package Tracking. See below:
Once you add the Package Tracking block, simply add your Tracking Number, an optional Description of what you are tracking, and then save your changes. See below:
From there, you can click the Add Another Tracking Code to put in another number, or you can place a check in the Allow Remote Updates if you have a Plus or Pro Account (Pro Subscriptions are no longer available for new signups). This will allow you to supply others with a URL they can use to add more packages to your Display.
Not all shipping services can be tracked using this block. When entering your tracking number, if it is not recognized, a drop-down window will appear where you can scroll through all the shipping options to see if you can track this package. See below:
The current list of supported carriers can be seen below:
- UPS
- UPS Mail Innovations
- DHL eCommerce
- DHL Express
- DHL Paket
- DHL Parcel
- FedEx
- FedEx Cross Border
- FedEx MailView
- FedEx SmartPost
- USPS
Due to issues with the Easypost API and our integrations, these are the only tracking services we have available at this time. If you would like to see a specific tracking service added, you can open a Discussion at the link below, and we will work with Easypost to see if we can get this added:
Settings Tab:
The Settings tab is where you set how you want the block to display your packages. See below:
These settings are detailed below:
- Hide Delivered Shipments: This option lets you decide when the Delivered Shipments will be removed from your screen. You can select between the following options:
- Immediately Upon Delivery
- After 1 Day
- After 1 Week
- Sort Shipments: This option allows you to sort all of your deliveries by the Delivery Date or in Alpahnumeric order of the Optional Description you supplied.
Formatting Tab:
The Formatting tab can make further changes to your block. See below:
These additions are detailed below:
- Text: This allows you to select what font you want to use as well as the size, color, and positioning of the font in your block.
- Background: This allows you to set a color, gradient, and blur effects for the background of your block.
- Block Title: This allows you to put a title on your block for use with Custom CSS or just to organize your blocks in your editor.
